The Old Mermaids Healing Works was inspired by my novel Church of the Old Mermaids. On the Old Mermaids Sanctuary: “Everyone was welcome: the lost, the found, the happy, the sad, the wanderers, the homesteaders, those who sang and those who chirped, those who roared and those who barked, those who burrowed and those who slithered, those who wrote poetry and those who listened to poetry, those who sat and those who stood, those who swam and those who walked.”

My greatest training has come from and with Nature. My greatest teachers are the plants, elements, and all the Visibles and Invisibles who inhabit our beautiful planet, but I have had human teachers, too. I’ve listed below the training I’ve had over the last twenty years.
I have had extensive and formal training in the Celtic Healing and Visionary Arts, Soul Retrieval, Faery Doctoring, Usui Reiki, feminist shamanic healing, and Chöd. I have also had training in Medicine for the Earth, flower essences, Braucherei, crystal and gem healing, and Energy Medicine. I have studied extensively with Vicki Noble, Tom Cowan, Sandra Ingerman, Demetra George, and Mary Courtis. I have also taken workshops with Elena Avila, Donna Eden, Judith Duerk, Camilla Blossoms, Colleen Benelli, and Laurelle Shanti Gaia. I have created and facilitated hundreds of ceremonies, sacred rituals, and workshops. I have also studied and worked with tarot for twenty years.
